Fox River Spelling Bee

Each student in those grades has the opportunity to participate if they choose to. We will hold Spelling Bee Study Sessions during lunch/recess in October where students will have the chance to practice grade-appropriate word lists taken directly from the Scripps National Spelling Bee lists, play word and spelling games that build Spelling/Language skills and finally end with a final Spelling Bee in November.  The winner from the Fox River Spelling Bee will advance to the regional spelling bee held in January or February.

More information will be shared with you and your child(s) teachers in the coming weeks. Including information about sign-ups, times and locations of the Study Sessions as well as information about the final Spelling Bee. Your child will also be given access to Word Practice lists and Study Tools to assist them in their Spelling journey.
