Mrs. Nelson

Mrs. Nelson is the band director at Fox River Middle School and the sixth grade band director at Evergreen, Woodfield and Trailside Elementary Schools.  She has also taught at Waterfield Union High School as the music theory teacher and assistant choir director.  An experienced chamber musician, she plays the flute with Racine String Quartet and the clarinet with various ensembles throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois. It is Mrs. Nelson's mission to help students develop a life-long understanding, appreciation, learning and love of music through exposure and experiences in a variety of instrumental ensembles.  She is very excited about the continued growth, momentum, and support of music education and the arts in Waterford! Mrs. Nelson welcomes anyone who is interested in band to visit the band room.  Parents are always welcome and encouraged to observe classes!  Please stop by and say hello!
