Uganda Fundraising Dance and Bake Sale - raised $1000.00!
Friday the 13th of May was the annual fundraising dance for the Hope School in Uganda. So far, we have been able to help the school obtain land and start a building. We have a personal connection to the school through one of Fox River's families who traveled to the area and filmed a documentary on the plight of a school there. Many student ask what we can do to help those children after watching the documentary. In our own small way we have had a great impact on the lives of the children in the school called "Hope".

During first quarter, the 7th grade Advanced ELA class explored the theme of Risk & Exploration. They read a wide array of literature and informational texts to discuss the adventures occurring in middle school, our community, and the world. In order to share their creativity and life lessons with others, they published a student newspaper on Google Sites for your perusal and enjoyment.
