Highlights from 11/19/14 - Waterford vs, Delavan
In the arctic air the 7th grade boys traveled to Delavan. The green game would start off close. In the 2nd quarter Ian Graham's post play helped open up a Waterford lead. In the end it was a Waterford win 38-17. The win puts the green team at 2-1.
The white game would end as a "nail bitter". Down 15-8 with the 3rd quarter winding down Mr. Meineke looked over and said we could really use a basket to end the quarter ~ It happened! In the 4th quarter relentless effort from Quinton helped keep Delavan off the scoreboard, Gavin would make a few post buckets to put the game at 16-15 Delavan leading. With 15 ticks left on the clock Shawn drove to the right side and tossed up a runner which found "nothing but net"! Waterford had the lead and hung on for the white teams first victory!
