Reading Incentive Celebration for March
The students participated in an egg hunt – searching for 84 eggs hidden in the lower gym and another work room. Once they found the plastic eggs, they traded them in for candy. Two eggs even contained a $1 each!
After all the eggs were found, students chose a hard-boiled egg to decorate with markers. They then played a game of egg bocce. Students rolled their egg to see who could get the closest to a chocolate bunny. They received points each round. The person with the highest number of points at the end of the rounds, won the chocolate bunny. Students had a lot of fun strategizing how to roll a hard-boiled egg!
Great job - keep reading!

April Reading Theme is World Culture
Students have the opportunity to participate in a reading incentive program each month.
Mrs. Markle will announce the theme of the articles and the students are responsible for finding three articles that relate to that theme. Students must read the article and write a reflection about the article. Reflections get turned in to the content teacher that relates to the theme of the article. Students will have a chance to earn an incentive for completing the reflections.
