Girls Basketball ~ highlights from Tuesday, February 24th
8th grade girls basketball team played at home vs. Lake Geneva for the 2nd night in a row. After a buzz beater finish on Monday night (February23rd) Waterford would play from behind all night. Despite intense backcourt pressure Waterford would never "get over the top". The green team would lose by 10 points. In the white game Waterford would have a much tougher night then Monday. When the final buzzer rang, Waterford was able to slip by Lake Geneva and improve to 2-0 on the season.
~ Coach Brodzik
7th grade girls were indefatigable! They were full of energy and gave a 100% effort on every play. Both green and white teams won with sensational teamwork. The green team was led by Madeline with 12 points and Machenzie A.K.A. Mack Attack with 5 points. The white team was led by Annie with 18 points. Annie was all over the place and could not be stopped.

Upcoming game ~ Monday, March 2nd - 7th grade away (Delavan) - 8th grade home
BLT (Band Leadership Team) sold candy hearts last week. This was a fun way to say "I love you" to your family and friends on Valentine's Day. Donations and the purchasing of the candy hearts went to support the Wolke Heart Fund.
Fox River Community raised $674.06 for the Michelle Wolke Heart Fund. Your generosity and support is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
